The Death of Stalin is a hilarious comedy of terrors from writer/director Armando Ianucci.

On the night of March 2nd 1953 Joseph Stalin, the “Father of the People,” who reigned in absolute power over Russia, suffered a stroke that would prove fatal.

After eventually being pronounced dead what followed was two days of a dictatorship plunged into madness, full of ruthless backstabbing, insane paranoia and farcical plotting where the only thing left to do was laugh.
