What is Bwcabus?
Bwcabus is a new fully accessible local bus service. The service is tailored to the needs of the passengers by operating in response to pre-booked journey requests. The service operates from 7am-7pm.
The service enables people to travel between local towns and villages within the Bwcabus zone or connect to the main line route bus services travelling to places including Aberaeron, Aberystwyth, Cardigan, Carmarthen, Lampeter, Llandysul, Pencader and Newcastle Emlyn via local hubs. Whether you need to get to access employment, training, healthcare or local services, Bwcabus can assist. The new specialist vehicles are low floor easy access and can accommodate buggies and a wheelchair.

How do I book Bwcabus?
Step One: Register the once with your details for free via telephone, on-line or the registration cards which are available on the Bwcabus vehicles and local amenities.
Step Two: Once you’re ready to use the service contact our bilingual call centre on 01239 801 601. The call centre is open from 7am until 8pm, 7 days a week.
Step Three: Provide the call centre agent with full details of the journey(s) you wish to undertake. Morning journeys are available between 7am-1:30pm and afternoon journeys between 2pm-7pm. Ensure you book your return journey. Passengers can block book regular journeys up to 28 days in advance.
Step Four: If we can offer you a suitable journey the booking will be confirmed by the call centre agent.
All journeys are subject to availability and will operate on a first come first served basis, so you will sometimes be offered an alternative travel time.
All journeys to be undertaken between 7am-1:30pm must be booked by 8pm the day before travel. All journeys to be undertaken between 2pm-7pm must be booked by 11.30am on the day of the journey. You will have more success in obtaining your desired travel time, the earlier you book.
Bwcabus also has a number of fixed routes that operate on certain days, the fixed routes do not require pre-booking. Just turn up and catch the bus as you would for a regular bus service.
